Australian Standard AS 3995 - 1994 Design of Steel Lattice Towers and Masts - Western Australia

Description

You must comply with this standard if you are an electricity network operator or electrical contractor and intend to design, construct, commission, operate, maintain and or decommission an electricity network.

This Standard sets out the procedures for determination of design wind speeds and wind loads, and other appropriate standards to be used in the structural design of steel lattice towers and masts. It also covers design and analyses of guyed lattice towers and masts, design of cable tension members and footing design. It does not cover transmission line structures.
