Australian Standard AS 4467: Hygienic Production of Crocodile Meat for Human Consumption - Western Australia


You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to operate a game carcass field depot, or wild game meat processing establishment which processes crocodile for human consumption. This standard sets out requirements for the production and hygiene quality control of meat from crocodile processed for human consumption at all registered establishments in Australia.

Compliance with this standard is necessary to ensure that all crocodile meat is processed in a safe and hygienic manner.
