You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to rent out a residential property.

Landlords must ensure that each external door is fitted with at least a deadlock or a key lockable security screen door that complies with this standard.

This standard sets out requirements for the performance of hinged and sliding security screen doors and security window grilles used primarily in residential situations.
