Authorisation of an Explosive - Western Australia


You will need this authorisation if you intend to sell, transport, manufacture or import an explosive that has not been authorised in Western Australia. New formulations of previously authorised explosives will also need new authorisation.

To be eligible for authorisation, you must demonstrate:

  • a legitimate need for the explosive
  • that the explosive can be safely handled, stored and transported by suitably licensed people.
