Authorisation to Use, Handle or Store a Prohibited or Restricted Carcinogen - Western Australia

Description

You will need this authorisation if you intend to use carcinogenic substances in your workplace. Carcinogenic substances are hazardous substances that can cause cancer.

A licence is required to use:

  • a Schedule 10 carcinogen in a laboratory for genuine research or analysis.
  • a Schedule 10 carcinogen in a workplace other than a laboratory, only if the carcinogen will be used, handled or stored for a use specified by the regulations.
