Car Market Operator Registration - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate a car market. A car market is a market provided by a registered car market operator who does not own the secondhand vehicles which are displayed for sale. Car markets are not auction premises.

Vehicles displayed for sale at a car market cannot be owned by other licensed dealers.

To be eligible for this registration you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be a fit and proper person
  • not hold any a licence as a motor vehicle dealer, yard manager or salesperson
  • have authorised premises to operate from
  • hold a current National Police Certificate.
