Casino Employee / Casino Key Employee Licences - Western Australia

Description

You will need a licence if you intend to work at the casino as a:

  • casino employee
  • casino key employee.

Casino employees work directly in the gaming operations of the casino. Examples include pit floor employees, such as croupiers, or IT contractors working on computer systems used in gaming operations.

Casino key employees work in management roles or in any role in where they are empowered to make decisions, using their discretion, that regulate the operation of a licensed casino.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • have appropriate identification and character references
  • have relevant qualifications or experience
  • have a letter from the casino with which you intend to be employed stating that you will be considered for employment by the casino in a specific capacity
  • hold a current National Police Certificate.

The agency may require your fingerprints, palm prints or other means of identification as a prerequisite for your application being considered.
