Description

You will need this registration if you intend to operate a cattery or keep more than the prescribed number of cats on your premises. The prescribed number of cats differs between three or four according to your council.

Eligibility requirements

Applications must be:

  • made by an occupier of the premises in relation to those premises
  • in a form approved by the council
  • accompanied by fees imposed and determined by the council
  • accompanied by the consent in writing of the owner of the premises, where the occupier is not the owner of the premises to which the application relates.
