Child Care Service Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to run a child care service that is not covered by the National Quality Framework. Child care services outside of the National Quality Framework include:

  • occasional (casual) care services
  • mobile services
  • services covered by the Australian Government's Budget Based Funding Program.

You will not need to apply for this licence if you run:

  • outside school hours care
  • long day care
  • family day care service
  • any other centre based services.

This licence is designed to protect and promote the best interests of children who receive child care services.
