You will require this licence if you operate a club and intend to sell liquor to members of the club and to bona fide guests of members. A club is a body or group of persons who join together to further some sporting, social, political, literary or other legitimate aim.
Both general and restricted licences are available. Both licences allow you to sell alcohol on your premises to your members and guests. For the restricted licence, operating hours are limited and you cannot sell packaged liquor.
Applications may be made as an individual person acting as trustee on behalf of an unincorporated club, or as an association. Please note that exemptions may apply for occasional functions, and for organisers of functions on licensed premises.
Please note alcohol bans apply in some community areas. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information.
