Code of Practice for Personnel Electrical Safety for Vegetation Control Work near Live Powerlines - Western Australia


You will be required to comply with this code if you intend to maintain vegetation that is near power lines.

This Code provides electrical safety information that will enable workers to assess whether it is safe to carry out work relating to pruning, cutting, maintaining or trimming vegetation that is near power lines and carry out that activity in a way that is safe for themselves, other workers and the general public. It specifies the minimum standards required for mobile plant, tools and equipment used in vegetation management work near live overhead power lines.
