Code of Practice for Persons Working On or Near Energised Electrical Installations - Western Australia

You will be required to follow this code if you are authorising or carrying out electrical work on or near energised electrical installations.

The code applies to all electrical work on low-voltage and high-voltage installations. It does not apply to work on extra low-voltage equipment. The code also does not apply to work done on a network operator's network but does apply to electrical installations that are not part of the network operator's network, including general power and lighting in switchyards and associated control buildings.

This code should be read alongside Occupational Safety and Health Regulations.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
