Code of Practice for the Use of Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals in Western Australia - Western Australia

You must comply with this code if you use chemicals in agricultural and veterinary industries.

This code of practice provides practical guidance for the safe, responsible and effective use of agricultural and veterinary chemicals.

The legislation divides different substances into poison categories, which have different levels of control of supply and use based on risk to human safety. Some categories need specific licences to sell and use them. It also provides supply, storage and packaging controls over poisons and prescription animal remedies.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
