Description

You must comply with this code if you intend to carry out work involving hazardous manual tasks. Most jobs involve carrying out some type of manual task using the body to move or hold objects, people or animals. Manual tasks cover a wide range of activities including stacking
shelves, working on a conveyor line and entering data into a computer.

The code provides relevant guidance on how to manage health and safety risks associated with musculoskeletal disorders arising from hazardous manual tasks in the workplace.
