Description

You will need to comply with this code if you intend to operate a mine and will be responsible for implementing a mine safety management system.

The code provides guidance for mine operators on meeting the requirements of the WHS Mines Regulations and the WHS General Regulations in relation to establishing and implementing a mine safety management system for a mine.
