Commercial Goods Vehicle Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to transport iron ore (or any mining product containing iron ore).

This licence applies only if transporting from any mine or mine stockpile situated within a 100 km radius of Wubin, Pindar, Geraldton, Marchagee and South Mine 94 or within an area 100 km on either side of either the:

  • Northern Railway Line between Wubin and Geraldton, including the Pindar to Mullewa section
  • Midland Railway Line between Marchagee and Geraldton
  • railway line between South Mine 94 and Dongara.

Licences will be issued to commercial goods vehicle owners allowing them to haul iron ore by road transport where rail transport is not a practical option.
