You will need this licence to conduct commercial operations in Western Australia's national parks, marine parks, state forests and other conservation reserves.
There are two types of licences, depending on the nature of the commercial operation:
- T class: most commercial operators, including guided walks, vehicle tours, boat tours and charters
- E class: where there are environmental, management, safety or access reasons why licence numbers must be limited. These are usually allocated via a competitive expression of interest process.
