Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) - Western Australia

You will require this security identification card if you intend to work in an industry that involves the import, manufacture, supply, storage, sale, handling, use or transport of explosives or security risk substances (SRS). This includes both holders of explosives or SRS licences, and secure employees of licence holders. An SRS is a substance that contains more that 45 percent ammonium nitrate.

Typical occupations that may require this clearance check include those in transport, farming and mining industries. You may not require this clearance if you will be working entirely under the supervision of a licence holder or a secure employer. This licence is required before you can be approved for any other dangerous goods licence or permit.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information.
