You will need this security identification card if you work in an industry that involves the import, manufacture, supply, storage, sale, handling, use or transport of explosives or sensitive ammonium nitrate (SSAN). It is required before you can be approved for any other dangerous goods licence or permit.
You may not require this card if you are working entirely under the supervision of a licence holder or a secure employer.
