Dangerous Goods Vehicle Licence - Western Australia

You will require this licence if you intend to use a road tank vehicle if the tank has a capacity of over 500 litres or if you intend to transport dangerous goods interstate.

A road tank vehicle is a vehicle where the tank forms an integral part of the vehicle. An extensive list of what products constitute dangerous goods can be obtained from the Agency, but broadly include gases, liquids and other substances that are flammable, explosive, toxic or radioactive.

You do not require this licence if the tank on your vehicle is removable and has been bolted on to or otherwise attached to your vehicle instead of structurally comprising part of your vehicle.
