Demolition Work Notification - Western Australia

Description

You will need to notify the agency if you are a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) and intend to carry out Class 1 or Class 2 demolition work in accordance with AS 2601. Notification must be submitted within 5 days of the work beginning.

Class 1 demolition work is the total or partial demolition of buildings or structures above 10 metres in height, affecting the structural integrity of the building, and other class 1 demolition work.

Class 2 demolition work is the total or partial demolition of buildings or structures that are less than 10 metres in height. This does not include demolition work involving a single storey dwelling or work permitted by a Class 1 licence.
