Electrician's Training Licence - Western Australia


You will need this licence if you intend to enter into an apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship or a training course as an electrician.

As a holder of an Electrician's Training Licence, you may only undertake electrical work when under the supervision of a fully licensed electrician. Electrical work includes conducting electrical installing work and electrical fitting work.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • complete the relevant training (or a substantial part of it)
  • provide a completed copy of the Apprentice Safety Assessment Report.

Continues until the applicant is granted an electricians licence or 3 months after the course is completed.
