ENA Doc 015-2006 National Guidelines for Prevention of Unauthorised Access to Electricity Infrastructure - Western Australia

Description

You may be required to comply with these guidelines if you are a network operator of, or a contractor working on, an electricity network that is not legally required to have a safety management system.

These guidelines examine the use of physical security and other risk management measures at electrical infrastructure installations to reduce the likelihood of exposure to electrical hazards to the public. They are aimed at community safety, with particular emphasis on children and young people, rather than other security threats.

As a network operator or contractor you have a duty to carry out your activities safely. You may demonstrate that you have met this duty by complying with these guidelines. If your network is legally required to have a safety management system you should instead ensure your work complies with that.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
