Fauna Processing Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to process fauna taken under a fauna taking (commercial products) licence or operate a fauna processing establishment.

Fauna means any animal native to Australia, and any animal that periodically migrates to and lives in Australia and includes any animal declared to be fauna by the Agency. Processing means to cut, skin, treat, chill, freeze, can, cure, pack or preserve any part of the fauna.

Your licence will specify the species of animal you are authorised to process, the maximum number you may process, and the number of persons from whom you may purchase the animals for processing.

  • submit the required forms
  • pay any required fees
  • comply with any additional provisions outlined by the Agency.
