You will need this licence to collect firearms and / or ammunition.

Your licence will only authorise you to possess the firearms and / or ammunition you collect. This licence does not authorise you to carry or use a firearm or ammunition.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

 

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be a fit and proper person
  • provide a 100 point proof of identification
  • be a fit and proper person to hold a firearms licence
  • provide a Serviceability Certificate for each firearm
  • provide supporting documentation that demonstrates the firearm has significant commemorative, historical, thematic or heirloom value.
