Funeral Director's Licence - Shire of Wiluna - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence to conduct funerals in Western Australia. Your licence only allows you to conduct funerals at a particular cemetery or cemeteries.

You will need to apply to the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board if you intend to conduct funerals at the following cemeteries:

  • Fremantle Cemetery
  • Karrakatta Cemetery
  • Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park
  • Guildford Cemetery
  • Midland Cemetery
  • Rockingham Regional Memorial Park.

Otherwise, you will need to apply to the local council responsible for the cemetery in which you intend to conduct funerals.

Funeral directors are responsible for arranging all permits, applications and authorities, as well as all other matters, associated with the funeral.
