You will need to be registered with the agency to participate in the gas market as one or both of the following participant types:
- facility operator
- gas shipper.
Facility operators own, control or operate facilities that include transmission pipelines, gas storage facilities, production facilities and large user facilities (such as mines, manufacturers and gas-fired electricity generator). Gas shippers are entitled to be use a pipeline service provided by a transmission pipeline operator.
A participant can be registered for more than one facility or activity.
