Description

You will need this licence if you intend to use and possess firearms as an individual.

Licences can be issued for one or more purposes, including:

to participate in shooting competitions
to hunt animals
to play paintball.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

be at least 18 years old
be a fit and proper person for this licence
provide proof of identification
provide supporting documentation relevant to the reason you intend to licence a firearm
provide a serviceability certificate for each firearm you intend to licence
undergo a Firearm Authority Health Assessment
complete a Firearms Safety Training course
