Infrastructure Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to construct, alter, reconstruct or operate any petroleum infrastructure facilities.

Petroleum infrastructure facilities are facilities that are resting, fixed, or connected to the seabed and used for any of the following activities:

  • remote control of facilities used for the recovery of petroleum in a licence area
  • processing petroleum recovered in any place, including converting petroleum to another form and partial processing of petroleum
  • storing petroleum before it is transported to another place
  • preparing petroleum for transport.
