You will need to pay this levy if you intend to operate a landfill or premises used for the disposal of waste. The levy is calculated on the amount of waste deposited at your facility.
Certain types of waste will not count towards the calculation of the levy such as, waste removed by a public authority, waste that will be reused and waste resulting from natural disasters.
