Licence to Keep a Kennel Establishment - Shire of Collie - Western Australia

Some councils will offer a separate application for keeping more than the prescribed number of dogs on your property. This application is usually for non-commercial purposes.

Application process


Application must be accompanied by:

  • a copy of determination on application for planning approval granting approval for an animal establishment
  • written evidence regarding who will have charge of the dogs which reside on the premises
  • written acknowledgement that the applicant has read and agrees with any relevant code of practice relating to the keeping of dogs
  • any fees required.
