You will require this licence if you intend to take or interfere with plants or animals in an environmental reserve. This includes hunting, destroying, trapping and removing plants or animals, or attempting to do any of those things.
Environmental reserves include:
- state forests
- timber reserves
- national parks
- conservation parks
- marine nature reserves
- marine parks
- marine management areas
- some private reserves managed by the state government.
Please note that if you already have authorisation from some other Agency to take or interfere with particular flora or fauna that may be sufficient, and you may not require this licence.
