Motor Vehicle Salesperson's Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to act as a motor vehicle salesperson. A motor vehicle salesperson can carry out the following activities for a licensed motor vehicle dealer:

  • buy or sell motor vehicles
  • complete sales contract documentation
  • take a customer for a demonstration drive
  • show vehicles to a customer
  • survey or discuss customer needs.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • prove that you are a fit and proper person of good character and repute (a National Police Certificate must be provided with your application to establish this criterion)
  • have successfully completed the salespersons training course.
