Motor Vehicle Yard Manager's Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate as a motor vehicle yard manager. A yard manager is someone employed or engaged by a licensed motor vehicle dealer to manage or supervise the dealer's business of buying and / or selling vehicles at the dealer's premises.

Eligibility requirements

To obtain a motor vehicle yard manager licence you must:

  • prove your identity and that you are over 18 years of age
  • prove that you are a fit and proper person of good character and repute, having no recent significant criminal convictions, as determined by the Commissioner for Consumer Protection
  • complete the required training course
  • complete the required forms
  • obtain a National Police Certificate
  • pay the prescribed fees.
