Description

You will need this licence if you intend to recovery petroleum from submerged lands. Petroleum is any naturally occurring hydrocarbon or mixture of hydrocarbons, including oil and gas.

To be eligible for this licence you will need to hold either an:

  • offshore exploration permit
  • offshore retention lease.

Duration

21 years unless renewed, or terminated if no operations commence within five years.
