Description

You will need this approval if you intend to design packaging to be used for transporting dangerous goods on road or rail. This includes:

The agency recommends that you contact them before submitting an application.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

To be eligible for this approval, the packaging design must:

comply with or is permitted by Part 6 of the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail (ADG Code)
satisfy all the relevant testing and inspection requirements.
