Painting Practitioner Registration - Western Australia

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to:

  • be the nominated supervisor for a painting services contractor
  • use a prescribed title, such as registered painting practitioner
  • be employed by or subcontract to a registered painting contractor to carry out painter work.

Painter work is painting work that is:

  • carried out for payment of reward
  • valued over $1,000
  • to be carried out in designated areas of the state.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for registration you must:

  • be a fit and proper person
  • have the qualifications and experience needed for your set
  • hold a current National Police Certificate.
