Permit to Construct, Establish or Modify a Fish Processing Place - Western Australia

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to construct a place or establish new plant or facilities for commercial fish processing. Please note that this permit does not authorise you to actually process the fish - you will need a separate licence for fish processing.

  • be a fit and proper person
  • intend to process fish for a commercial purpose in or on the place
  • be likely to satisfy the criteria for the grant of a fish processor's licence
  • obtain planning approval for construction or modification from other relevant authorities
  • satisfy the agency that it is in the better interests of the fishing industry to grant the permit.
