Permit to Light a Fire or Burn Material on Public Land - City of Gosnells - Western Australia

Description

You will require this permit if you intend to light a fire to burn rubbish, refuse or other material. This permit will not be granted for land less than 2000 square metres in area. All alternative methods of disposal must be explored.

To be eligible for this permit, you must ensure that:

  • there is no other appropriate means of disposal
  • the material does not include any plastic, rubber, food scraps, green garden materials or other material which may become offensive when burnt
  • a haze alert has not being issued by the Bureau of Meteorology during the time burning is to take place
  • if you are using an incinerator, that it meets the minimum specified standards.
