Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for the full licence you must be:

  • at least 18 years old
  • a fit and proper person
  • medically fit to handle restricted-use and other pesticides
  • adequately qualified to undertake pest management treatments.

To be eligible for a provisional licence you must:

  • be at least 17 years old
  • be a fit and proper person
  • be medically fit to handle restricted-use and other pesticides
  • be adequately qualified to undertake pest management treatments
  • intend to acquire sufficient knowledge and skills to become a licensed technician.
