Plumbing Contractor's Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to:

  • carry out certain types of plumbing work
  • exercise direction and control over the carrying out of plumbing work by a plumbing tradesperson
  • supervise an apprentice carrying out of plumbing work
  • certify plumbing work.

The types of plumbing work you may authorised to carry out can be:

  • water supply plumbing work, sanitary plumbing work and drainage plumbing work
  • water supply plumbing work and sanitary plumbing work
  • water supply plumbing work and drainage plumbing work
  • water supply plumbing work
  • drainage plumbing work
  • sanitary plumbing work and drainage plumbing work.

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • be a fit and proper person
  • hold a statement of competency for your intended type(s) of plumbing work
