You will need this licence if you intend to take or supply fauna for a commercial purpose. Fauna means any animal native to Australia, and any animal that periodically migrates to and lives in Australia and includes any animal declared to be fauna by the Agency.
The licence may specify the:
- greatest number of each or any species that may be taken, held or disposed of
- parts of the State in which the fauna may be taken, held or released
- person or bodies to whom the fauna may be transferred or the way the fauna may be disposed of.
This licence superseded the professional shooter's licence and licence to take emu eggs.
You may need to pay a royalty fee.
