Registered Pesticide Permit - Western Australia

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to possess and use registered pesticides for vertebrate animal control on leasehold or freehold land.

Registered pesticides are those prescribed by law, and include 1080, PAPP and strychnine.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • all users must have completed and passed the online registered pesticide training
  • the property must be greater than 10 hectares or 25 acres
  • baiting must be a minimum of 150 meters from any dwelling
  • the property must not be located within an urban area
  • the property must be outside a town water catchment area
  • the registered pesticides must be able to be safely stored and locked in a cabinet.
