Registration of an Agricultural Society to Conduct an Agricultural Show - Western Australia

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to operate an agricultural society and hold an agricultural show. An agricultural society is a club, association, company or other organisation established for the purpose of holding or promoting an agricultural show. An agricultural show is any show with the principle object of exhibition of agricultural or pastoral products and livestock, including horses in action. You may not operate an agricultural show without this registration.

Each year you must apply for the dates on which you intend to hold your show or shows. You must hold the agricultural show on those notified dates.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible you must lodge an application in writing under the common seal of your organisation, or signed by at least 10 persons on behalf of your organisation (if your organisation is unincorporated).

You may also need to hold an appropriate insurance policy.
