Registration of Veterinary Premises - Western Australia


You will need this registration if you intend to run a veterinary clinic or hospital. These facilities provide treatment and care for animals in need of surgical or medical treatment.

The difference between the two facilities is:

  • at a veterinary clinic, animals may not stay overnight
  • at a veterinary hospital, animals may be cared for overnight.

To be eligible for this registration you must:

  • supply the name of the registered veterinary surgeon who will manage the premises
  • supply any other information as required
  • make the premises available for inspection
  • submit the relevant form
  • pay the required fees.
