You may require this registration if you intend to keep a miniature horse or pig. There may be limits on the number of miniature horses or pigs you can keep. Separate registration may be needed to keep more than the maximum allowed number.

You must obtain specific written approval from the council to keep a single sterilised miniature horse on land not less than 1000m2.

The single miniature pig or miniature horse must be registered annually and kept in accordance with all conditions of approval.
