Schedule 9 Poisons Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to manufacture or supply a schedule 9 poison for a prescribed purpose. Prescribed purposes include:

  • chemical analysis
  • research purposes
  • treatment and anaesthesia of exotic animals
  • training animals to detect schedule 9 poisons.

Schedule 9 poisons are those currently listed on the Poisons Standard, and include illicit drugs such as:

  • heroin
  • cannabis
  • synthetic cannabinoids
  • MDMA.
