You will need this authorisation for any vehicle you intend to use for passenger transport. This includes the movement of passengers for hire or reward, covering on-demand rank and hail (taxis), on-demand charter, tourism passenger transport, and regular passenger transport.
Authorisation in multiple categories is available for no additional cost. However, you are unable to hold both a rank and hail and charter authorisation. A rank and hail authorisation will allow for charter transport, however a charter authorisation will not allow for rank and hail services.
