Tradesperson's (Plumbing) Licence - Western Australia

You will need this licence if you intend to carry out plumbing work but do not have a Plumbing Contractor's Licence. This licence authorises you to carry out specified plumbing work and supervise an apprentice, however you must do so under the general direction and control of a licensed plumbing contractor.

This licence does not authorise you to certify that plumbing work complies with the relevant standards. This can only be done by the holder of a Plumbing Contractor's licence.

You may be able to apply for a provisional version of this licence if you hold a plumbing qualification from another country. This provisional licence enables you to work in Western Australia under supervision whilst completing Australian context training and gaining experience in local conditions.

Service type

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
