Description

You will need this approval if you intend to undertake well activity. Well activity is an activity carried out in relation to a well. Wells are holes in the Earth's crust made by drilling, boring or any other means by exploring for or recovering petroleum or geothermal energy.

There are two types of management plans that need approval:

  • onshore geothermal or petroleum well management plans
  • offshore petroleum well management plans.
