Australian New Zealand Standard AS / NZS 60269.1:2005 Low Voltage Fuses - General Requirements - Western Australia

You must comply with this standard if you are an electricity network operator or electrical contractor and intend to design, construct, commission, operate, maintain or decommission an electricity network.

This standard applies to fuses incorporating enclosed current limiting fuse links with rated breaking capacities of not less than 6 kiloamperes, intended for protecting power frequency alternating current circuits of nominal voltages not exceeding 1000 volts or direct current circuits of nominal voltages not exceeding 1500 volts.

The object of this standard is to establish the characteristics of fuses or parts of fuses (fuse-base, fuse-carrier, fuse-link) in such a way that they can be replaced by other fuses or parts of fuses having the same characteristics provided that their dimensions are the same.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required by your business.
